Precinct Reference Groups

Precinct Reference Groups (PRGs) are just one of the ways we’ll be working closely with communities associated with the new stations being delivered as part of Stage One. The PRGs will help provide local input and feedback during the planning, development and delivery of Suburban Rail Loop.

The PRGs will be a forum for local representatives to talk directly to the government, Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) and project contractors. Your community representatives from Cheltenham, Clayton, Monash, Glen Waverley, Burwood, and Box Hill will work with us to tell us about local priorities, values, ideas and help resolve any concerns you may have about the project.

As well as community representatives, PRGs will have a range of members, including:

  • representatives from local councils and key stakeholders
  • community groups
  • traders
  • relevant government agencies

The PRGs will be co-chaired by an independent facilitator and local Member of Parliament.

Expressions of interest for the voluntary community member positions have now closed.
