Deputy Director, Engineering and Assurance

The Deputy Director, Engineering and Assurance is responsible for the leadership and delivery of all engineering processes associated with the development, definition, scope and implementation of the Suburban Rail Loop.

The role provides expert technical advice and guidance across all engineering disciplines to Project Directors and Project Managers, to support successful project development and delivery.

Playing a key leadership role within the project, the Deputy Director, Engineering and Assurance leads a team of highly skilled technical professionals across design and engineering, systems architecture and integration and safety and systems assurance.

Manager, Financial Operations

The purpose of this role is to provide leadership on the development and management of the Suburban Rail Loop project financial accounting and compliance requirements, build strong relationships to ensure reporting and financial analysis meet stakeholder requirements, and develop a high performing team within the Suburban Rail Loop Authority.

The incumbent will be responsible for establishing and maintaining financial policies and work collaboratively with other members of the Finance team and project stakeholders to ensure the financial objectives for the Authority are achieved.

This opportunity would suit a confident leader, with strong conceptual and analytical skills, and a proven financial management background.

Principal Engineer - Mechanical Works

The Principal Engineer, Mechanical & Electrical is a subject matter expert role within the project's Engineering team, providing expert technical leadership across all MEP systems, ensuring MEP systems objectives are achieved for The Suburban Rail Loop.

This role will provide subject matter expertise on LV power, ventilation, fire detection and suppression systems. Working closely within a multi-disciplinary team environment, the Principal Engineer, MEP will be the primary source of specialist technical MEP related advice. Working with multiple stakeholders, this role will consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders influencing key project decisions.

Principal Engineer - Rail Systems

This role is responsible for providing leadership in the development and implementation of rail systems for the Suburban Rail Loop project.

The role will call on experience and expertise gained from working through all phases of the project lifecycle in complex technology based systems for major rail projects.

The ability to work within a multi-discipline project team and to build and maintain strong working relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to manage and assist resolution of complex issues will be fundamental for success in this role.

Principal Engineer - Track and Overhead

The Suburban Rail Loop is seeking to engage an experienced, subject matter expert Principal Engineer, Track and Overhead.

This position will be responsible for providing technical leadership across rail infrastructure in the planning and delivering aspects of the SRL project.

The role will call on relevant project development and delivery management experience relating to brownfield rail projects including integration across multiple disciplines and stakeholder organisations including Department of Transport, VicTrack, Rail Operators and interface projects.

The ability to maintain strong relationships across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and manage and communicate project implications of complex technical issues is fundamental for the success of the role.

Senior Project Manager, Stations

The Senior Project Manager, Stations, plays a lead role in overseeing and monitoring the design and delivery of stations and surface infrastructure within the Suburban Rail Loop project.

Major focus areas of this role include managing interfaces with delivery partners and project stakeholders and working within a multi-disciplinary team to manage project risks and issues and deliver exceptional outcomes within tight timeframes.
