The Senior Planning Adviser reports to the Senior Manager, Planning and Environment and is responsible for developing complex planning and heritage approvals documentation for the project's transport infrastructure, in collaboration with project teams and external advisers. Standards & Type Approvals Lead - VPSG6
SRLA is seeking to engage a highly motivated engineering standards and type approvals lead within the Engineering & Assurance branch of its Rail & Infrastructure division. The engineering standards and type approvals lead role will manage the assessment, review, and control and ultimate implementation of accepted revised standards to the SRL project as well as the development of new standards and guidelines associated with new types of infrastructure and systems. This role requires collaborating with and influencing the Department of Transport, rail industry stakeholders and accredited rail operators on standards development activities, ensuring best for State and Project outcomes. The Risk Officer will support the management of the enterprise risk management function. You will take an active role in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives which further mature risk management across the Authority. The Manager, Planning position is within the Land, Planning and Environment (LPE) team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Environment and Planning. LPE is a high-performing team responsible for obtaining key approvals, managing land and overseeing sustainability and environmental performance for the transport infrastructure of the project. This is a key project role required to support development and delivery of the Initial and Early Works phase of the project.
